Originally offered in the April 2010 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting, this spectacular quilt is comprised of just two blocks; a star and a rotated hourglass block. Make your quilt in one of four sizes.

Before class, you will piece together the 5'' blocks from a charm pack, to be quilted in this hands-on workshop.

We will explore ways to quilt each block differently as we cover many different quilting methods, both free-motion & with a walking foot.

Various marked & non-marked meth- ods will be covered, along with preparing the layers to quilt. Finished project can be used as a table runner, dresser topper, baby quilt, etc.

This workshop is suitable for the beginning machine quilter or those who have had some experience.

Get ready for Independence Day decorating & learn how to use the twister ruler at the same time. You can chose the size 20 1/2'' X 26'' (uses the Primitive Pinwheels© ruler) or 36'' X 45'' (uses the Lil Twister© ruler).

If you're ready to take your free-motion quilting to the next level, this hands-on workshop is for you. You will get lots of practice as we cover the basics of machine quilted feathers and how to use them in borders, sashing, within blocks & as background fill, without using any stencils or templates.

You'll be surprised at how easy feathers can be once you learn their basic structure & some great tips!!
