2010 Block a Month
- Block a month for 2010 will begin in February and continue until December. Two class times will be offered: the 3rd Thurs. of the month 7-9 PM and 9-11 AM on the Tues. of the same week.
For the first time you will have a choice of quilts to make--both versions include the same blocks!
The first option is 'Old Glory'. A flag of sorts made with 6" blocks.
The second option has not been named yet. It is simply a two color quilt (of course, you can use more fabrics if you like, we'd be happy to help you figure that out!) made with 12" blocks. You can choose from the size shown (approx. 64X64) or information for a queen size will be available.

Block A Month To-Go!
- This project is from our Civil War March 3x6 pattern. Sound familiar? The larger version was our block a month for 2009.
For eight months we will include the pattern & fabrics to complete a row (even the setting triangles) for $18. We'd be happy to ship to you for an additional $4. The final month will be sashing, border, & binding for $24 (+$5 to ship). The final month is optional - that way you can choose your own fabrics for this last step if you'd like.
Packets can be picked up or will be mailed on the 20th of each month. At sign-up you will pay for the first two months. Each month you pick up a packet (or it is sent to you), you will pay for the next. Those wanting their supplies to be shipped will be required to pay by credit card.
Beginners
- Have you always wanted to learn how to make beautiful quilting projects, no better time than now to start. This class covers everything from rotary cutting to binding, in a project small enough you'll be able to finish. This class will be four sessions long. Only the first class date is listed - the following dates will be determined by the class participants.

Happy Holidays Table Topper
- Great table topper for any time of the year. Unique construction makes this pattern far easier than it appears! Choose from three sizes.

English Paper Piecing
- What a great take along project! These hand pieced hexagons go together quickly and much easier than one would think. We'll get you started then let your imagination run wild!

Gordian Knot
- An old fable about a knot that has no beginning. A three color choice, easily pieced, excellent directions. A must see sample. While Janet says that this class is geared for intermediate to expert quilters, beginners shouldn't necessarily shy away - this was the first quilting class that Janet took!

Charm Pack Machine Quilting
- Suitable for the beginning machine quilter or those with some experience. Before class, you will piece together the 5'' blocks from a charm pack, to be quilted in this hands-on workshop. Each block can be quilted differently, as we will cover many different quilting methods, both free-motion and with a walking foot. Various marking & non-marking methods will be discussed, along with preparing the layers to quilt. Finished project can be used as a table runner, dresser topper, baby quilt, etc.

Merry Go Round
- Don't let the 60o angle scare you - they aren't difficult at all. No Y or set in seams! Choose from the smaller or larger version. Also cute in baby fabrics!

- Learn the basics of paper piecing by creating a beautiful pineapple block that could be framed or added to for a larger project.
